I believe in life.
In people that are good deep in their bones and are good for me.
In delighting in others and loving deeply.
In a Creator God who designed beauty for beauty's sake.
in grace for all and the promise of redemption.
that god envisioned a best life for each of us where we soak up all God's glorious gifts.
In a God who belly laughs and cheers us on when we crash into that beautiful will & design.
& in grace when we fail to believe in all of the above.
As I write that last truth, the lyrics "Oh to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be" float through my mind. And yet, God has planted a desire deep in my wandering heart to write stories of failures and encouragement for beauty-seekers, intentional livers, and truth-tellers. So thank you for following along as I share my musings about faith, intentional living, and finding our purpose.
The Husband
With my grandmother's pearl ring and a newly monogrammed kayak, William asked the question that would change the trajectory of our lives. Ever since, life has been an wonderful adventure as we moved across the country, pursued new careers & ordination, and purchased The Purple House. William does everything big and the way he loves others is no different. He's truly my favorite human.
The City
New careers & ordination landed us in Atlanta, GA from Texas. This city under the canopy has quickly become home as we plant ourselves as intentional neighbors here. We believe God has been clear to us to live a minimalist lifestyle in service to others, to partner with the marginalized, and to tell our story of grace & love in all circumstances.
The Pups
We honestly spend most of our evenings watching the puppies. We are 100% comfortable with how obsessed we are with these cute fur-balls. Magnolia is our super loving, energetic 2 year old who loves people, bathtubs, and belly rubs. Moxie is our shy rescue who works hard each day to overcome her past and enjoy puppy life.
